I've decided to sell my thou as I'm moving to London soon and I want a naked, commuter friendly bike. I bought the bike earlier this year so my ownership has been short but please believe me this is a genuine sale (I'm likely to buy another SV so will stay a member of the forum.

The bike is, dare I say it immaculate. It's pretty standard apart from a brand new set of Fuel oval cans (with removable baffles) originals also included and a pillion seat unit (plus original seat and grab rail). No dents, corrosion, everything works as it should and it rides perfect.)

Here's the important stuff;

Colour: Candy Blue
Mileage: 14,600
Crash Bungs
Fuel exhausts plus originals
Seat cover plus original seat
MOT: Expires September
Tax: Expires August
Datatool Alarm with two fobs
Two Keys
Original Toolkit
Original Folder with service book - stamped at 13,192 on 16/03/07
Former keepers 3 (I'm 4th)

As I say, it really is in great condition.

I'm looking for £2,550 with the cans included. I'd remove the cans (and fit the originals obviously) and sell for £2,350.

I was going to take some beauty pics this morning but it's poring so am uploading these which unfortunately don't feature the detail. I'll try to get some better ones later this week.

Anyone interested then PM me. If no one is interested here then it's going on ebay next week.

If it's a good bike, why not convert the bars to naked type ?

Spokey

I considered that but I don't like the idea of keeping the half fairing as I think you either have a flat bar naked bike or a sports bike.

I also realised that to do the whole conversion was going to be a little too much work.

Funny, but when I first read that I thought you had written "If it had a decent paint job I would snap it right up"

As if you'd get insured on a 1000cc

After browsing ebay for 650's, came across a few of these and its a brilliant price.

insurance is reasonably good :)

2 years ncb, 23 y/o, no points/no convictions, york postcode, worked out about £380 fully comp, renewal is set to be around £280-£320 ish :)

what cans are on it jay? Would you be willing to sell seperately maybe? :D:D

I might be willing to part with the cans seperately. They are pretty much brand new, thus spotless. Paid £300 when I bought them in March. So I suppose I'd want £200 ?

However they may be more value by selling them with the bike. Let me see how things go over the week with interest and I'll let you know whether I'll take them off.
