First time in the full on wet on my SV. Liking the conti roads in the wet, even though the rear is below 1mm of tread atm (getting replaced soon no worries) it is pretty stable.

Was bone dry when I left my house. Headed towards Hungerford/Lambourn along the B4000/B4001 and then it started ****ing down! I tried to run home but I got lost. xD

Taken on a phone as I don't have a digi cam.

I learnt not to park up in puddles - you get your feet wet when you stop (actually Black-rains are the dogs so I don't but you get the point). Take it easy in the wet and it's all good......

Haha, yeah it does. My Razr2 takes everything..

As for soggy feet, I have water-proof boots. *glee*

Debaffled stubby. :)

And yeah I'm sort of a student working for no money in the hope of a job so it'll have to wait. :|

got the same rubber on my bike.Never had a big slip or slide, but they just dont inspire any confidence in them whatsoever.
They seem to want to turn in so quickly ,which gives the impression of the from slipping .

If its below 1mm then riding in the rain ought to wait, because you will either bin it or you will get pulled and find yourself with 3 points and a £1000 fine.

Both being more expensive than a tyre.

I have Road Attacks too and think they're utterly confidence inspiring and progressive. More than enough for scratching but warm up quick and are super in the wet, cheap as chips too.
Horses for courses though, and it took me a while to find pressures I was happy with. IIRC the Conti website advises something like 42 rear, too much imo.

Nice bike Jamie, looks damp.

Yup, I try to only use it in the dry, as I said I got caught out unfortunatly and then got lost.. :|

Just being smooth turning (I'm experienced in the rain, just not on this SV, and it's the first twin, still getting used to it after over a month xD :)) and not giving it any power seemed to work.. There's loads of tread on the shoulder parts though as it was the motorway trip back from picking it up that squared it off so badly.

I agree sinbad, they have good confidence, more than the crappy BT014s I had on the Zed. I'm currently running 34f and 38r, works ok for my 13stone lump.
