Heya I'm on the look out for a new can and all that comes with it for my bike, my budget is £150.
New or used it doesn't matter as long as it's not manky :).
I want it to be loud even with baffle in as that's the way I'll be keeping it.
Thanks - Nicola.

Fuel or something second hand from Ebay.

You can get a new one for that price easily.

I've only found a handful of exhausts on ebay, used ones anyway :(.
Brand new are around £200 =/.
I've got my eye on a CCC one that's ending in 2ish days and it's at £50 right now.

You can get a can for £50 or so no problem secondhand

Had a look at them earlier, would like one but I want a link pipe as don't fancy cutting my exhaust.

You have to cut the original exhaust to mount any aftermarket slipon. It's not hard and you can refit the original without much difficulty.

Woot?

You'll have to cut your exhaust with any can. Unless you get a full system (CCC don't do systems either, you get almost the exact same linkpipe as with fuel)

But my exhaust isn't a single system it's already got a mount that holds the pipe and the can together.
My 400 was welded so would have had to cut that but not the SV.
Maybe the old owner had a different exhaust on at some point?

Sounds like it. Is it a sleeve with 4 splits in it and 2 clamps? Got a pic?

Think I'm right anyway as my 400 didn't have that (circled).

No that's always there. A slip-on mounts way further back on the link pipe before the can which will need to be cut.

oh dear =/.
How do I go about doing that?

An angle grinder or a hacksaw. It isn't too hard.

Take the baffle out before you put it on, and then "lose" it.. ;)

I'd love to do that but don't think I should risk it :(.
I'm in the restricted club but have second hand washers in so can't attract unwanted attention, gutted :smt065.

Don't worry about it you aren't breaking the law using secondhand washers

Fair enough. Just make sure you don't go over 70 on a motorway then ;)

Good choice of bike and colour BTW

I gave in and took the baffle out and it's not going back in.
My boyfriends TL is a little louder than mine with beauwulf's with the baffle, so mine must be road legal even without baffle as his is legal.
Was amazing :D.
Best sound I've ever heard and it was me riding it!
