Do you not believe in puncture repairs or is there so little tread left on the tyre that it is not worth it?

As long as the screw is through a fairly central part of the tread (not the side wall or very close to the sidewall), then most bike tyre places will plug it. Technically, not rated for speed etc, but £15 is a damn sight cheaper than a new tyre. I've get a plug in my rear at the mo.

B&C (http://www.bandcperformancetyres.com/) should be able to do it, or advise if a replacement is needed.
