What's the result? Are you wanting to use the stock front end in other forks?

gsxr6 k1-3 forks, gsxr6 K1 callipers, srad yokes & stem, TWF top head bearing, gsxr6 lower head bearing, modified ZX12 & ZX7 discs (ZX12 discs with gold carrier for standard sv wheels & ZX7 discs with black carrier for dymag wheels), 1 pair standard sv wheels & 1 pair sv 3-spoke black dymag wheels (for summer), standard sv spindle, custom made spindle adaptors for sv spindle in gsxr fork legs (still to confirm design), standard sv speedo drive & when I get it all fitted up i'll work out how to get srad clip-ons on there as well.

SRAD clipons will be a bit on the low side and may drag your cables on fairings.
VTR1000 firestorm ones would be worth a look.
Will be a sweet front end when finished.
P.s I know I may be teaching grandma to suck eggs, but be sure to ream the bolt holes to same as stock and use proper disc bolts.

yeah i'm expecting to have a few clearance issues with the srad clip-ons, would really like to get something a bit lower than standard tho. I'll have a peep at the VTR items in the meantime tho, cheers for the heads up.
My mate who's doing the machining has just furnished his workshop (or rather the one he's in charge of) with all new kit. He jokingly asked if ±0.025 tolerances would be good enough for me :-) everything should be spot on when it comes of the machine!
Other than that I've just got to make a good job of painting the front mudguard to match the lovely yellow of my bike, various small plastic spacers/washers for fitting the mudguard as the centers between fork legs on srad and k-series forks are slightly different, and confirm exactly how thick (if at all) for calliper mounting spacers. Think it's be too much to expect that i'll bolt it up and the disc offset and calliper location will be spot on.

ps - aren't VTR forks Ø41mm? GSXR K & SRAD are Ø45. I did consider machining out the sv clip-ons, but there didn't look like there'd be enough meat left on them are boring out from 41 to 45mm

i like a lot. Are the ZX12/7 discs better than Gixxer ones or is it just stuff left in the shed?

oem manufacturers change from time to time, depending how long the contract is for, so the quailty and perforamce between kawasaki and suzuki brake discs is incomparable. both manufactures use tokico as a brake calliper supplier, they may even use the same brake disc supplier when contracts overlap each others.

Pretty sure the SRAD RWUs are 43mm tubes.
Yes I'm wrong there about the firestorm clipons, bugger. Can't remember where I heard that. I'm sure there's some other h*nda with 43mm forks. Try a C*R600F sport...

The SRAD clip-ons and yokes that I have are all Ø45mm. At least I'm pretty sure they are. Doubt has entered my mind! I'll be checking tonight. ps - Are honda and CBR dirty words on this forum YC, or just in your book? Just wondered why there were asterisks in there?
fallen angel - Not sure that the ZX discs are any better than the gixxer ones, but gixxer discs have no offset, that is they are completely flat. The ZX ones have a dished carrier that offsets the disc rotor by about 10mm from the mounting face of the carrier which is similar to the curvy sv disc. I needed a Ø320mm OD disc to suit the gixxer forks and callipers, but something with similar offset to a standard SV disc so any spacers that i'll need to make the discs fit will be as small as possible.
