View Full Version : hi lads n lassies!
hows this fine weather suiting all you sv riders? my mrs just recently passed her all access test, and bought a 2000 plate sv650 x she loves the bike but there's a few minor probs, i explained she could do no better than join a forum, and talk to folk who are in the know, but she thinks pc's are just for dusting!
i own a w plate blackbird and a 05 plate gsx1400 (the 14 being bike of choice now) i wont revert back to the feotal position until im reborn again, shoulder blades, **** bone and license feel much healthier;)
the forum looks busy! a good sign for her choice of bike!
anyway, on her behalf and from me
cheers to all

Hiya and welcome to you and your wife. The sv is my first big bike and I love it too.
thanks to one and all:drink:
in answer to binky, she needs a new set of handle bars (someone must have dropped it previously and theres the slightest of kinks, she didnt notice but i did) and a new set of clocks cos the rev counter doesnt work and there must have been a leak as the dial has gone all funky??
arty lady, i have a confession to make,,,,,in order to finish those songs i used a fair ammount of samples, horns being all samples!!, shhhh!
dave preston, did you know that the best of irish whisky are all blends, i cant recall a single! but if you've tried powers, black bush (or shirley bassey as its been christened) then you've drank the best the island has to offer imho, although, i have family there who source poteen from a friend that does'nt make you go blind! its great, for falling over:smt119
just checked out artyladys handywork,, most severly impressed, cant find the bow in awe smiley!
oh, there it is.

Yea, we are a busy forum, and there is a wealth of knowledge to be had. What the .org can't tell you about SV's certainly isn't worth knowing :D
RE: rev counter; i beleive the rev counter runs off the front cylinder, so just rule out that there isnt a dodgy connection some place.

I had to get a new face for my rev counter - I don't think they leak, just crack and peel off - I'll dig out the number where I got it from and let you know.
Ah well it sounded good anyway! as did all of it - is that you singing? (I am biased towards the horns though haha!)
