poor low RPM perf- backfiring

Heyya Guys an Dolls,
04 Naked SV650, bought it REAL cheap (was girls bike) think she got scared cause its only got 2100 miles on it. Struggles in first until the revs come up then it just flies. Bu Bu Bu Bu Bu Bwaaaaaaaaaa. Real annoying. If I rev it good while easing out the clutch it really goes. In other words I really gotta push it hard for it to run good. Annoying low RPM problem off idle problem. Driving me crazy. Cleaned the tank twice. Fourth tank of fuel. Cleaned the carbs three times (complete dis assembly). Gunk everywhere. Last time I pulled the carbs they finally come up clean. Balanced the carbs everytime cleaning was done. New plugs. no missfire but occassional popping out the muffler at cruise.
Please, any ideas as I'm running out of them? :confused:

The 2004 SV650 is fuel injected so you couldn't have cleaned the carbs. (confused)

Does it have the standard exhaust? Check the choke cable for any sticking, try different jetting? Get a dynojet kit..

Well... its got two carbs for sure so i must be reporting the year wrong. Needle an seat got stuck on my first road test so I had to push it about ten blocks. Thought I was gonna die. Problem only occurs coming off idle kinda bu bu bu bu bu bu bu bu bwaaaaaaa (hang on at this point). Then it runs like a raped ape. No vacuum leaks that I can find but thats what it seems like..... tries to accel but then ovecomes the vacuum leak an flies. But I haven't found any vacuum leaks nowhere. HELP !!

Look for leaks harder xD

strip it all again and replace parts if nececsary? wait for YC to comment he'll sort you right out i'm sure ;)

Any mods to the engines breathing? OEM air filter? Exhaust downpipes?

Get a dynojet kit..
