I had a hamicad on my 650 and I think the one on my 1000 is r&g.
Both of them are a pain in the arsh to fit :)
pillion seat off, rider seat off, undo pillion seat locking mechanisim, undo all screws and popper rivet things which hold the tail unit in place, disconnect all plugs for indicators/brakes/numperplate light etc... remove existing unit then attempt to refit new one.
Lots of feckin around - it does look smarter afterwards but it's a bloody mission

depends if you just want the tail tidy or the whole undertray.
Ive got an Ermax undertray on my thou.
Hamicad was pretty easy to fit - took about 1 hr. Instructions included were good and it looks great. Just make sure you've got a socket set with some extensions to get in at the bolts beside the tail light as they were a bit tricky.
Hamicad I fitted mine in January and to be honest it was not all that difficult..... a bit of a fiddle with cold hands but not too bad.

I should probably mention I was broken off from fitting mine. Started one friday afternoon, missus got home from work earlier than anticipated and we had to "go shopping right this minute before the traffic gets bad" so restarted it on sunday morning. Couldn't remember how it had all come to bits so took much longer than it should have
still, managed to do the one on the sv1000 in about an hour without any instructions. Just fiddly as feck

I can say this with all confidence as she is out at the moment and cant see what im typing!

Make one! There is a template for a good one on this forum, just a minute.........
It's called How to make a fender eliminator on the FAQ and how to page.
The Hamicad site says
Why is the Fender Eliminator labelled for 'race use only'?
The Fender Eliminator designs do not utilise a reflector, and so it is not strictly Street legal, for this reason we must mark it appropriately.
Could a wee reflector be stuck onto the space betwen the lights just above the plate to make it legal? What did you guys do to yours?
Hell, I don't even have my SV yet and I'm looking at mods lol
