View Full Version : Sv650.org Tee shirts or caps?
It's just struck me that this would be an easy way to find other "orgers" when at shows and race meetings.
Has this been covered before? Caps save on the sizing issue of Tee shirts.
I'd pay a tenner for one and they cost about a fiver (for a very nice one with logo) so it would make a bit of money for the site too.
I've got a contact that could do them with LED torches in the peak too :)
And with every cap orders maybe throw in a dozen "business" cards for the site so we cna put them on other Sv's when we're out and about.
Whadya Think?

Im sure theyre already about?

2 immediate issues come to mind. T-shirts are hard to see from the back when wearing a jacket. Caps are hard to carry without them getting squished.
Nevertheless the caps are a good idea, i think - very visible.
ive got a sv.org t-shirt and it has sv650.org on the back and my forum name on the front :)
Fabtastic! I'll order some later today. I wear a cap 90% of the time so it'd be good to get some of those too.
Cheers, C
DOH! I'm too fat!
See, I told you caps were the way to go :)

why not get some badges/patches so you can attach them to your leathers/jacket/rucksack etc etc etc - easily seen then

I wouldn't, personally. Glue is messy and often doesn't hold, and leaves a mess if you want to remove the patch. Stitching would damage the waterproofing.
I just stick with having a odd hair colour.

i think these would be a brilliant idea for AR camping. I remember a few peeps last year had those LED strap things on and if i could have a swish cap with them built in then even better.
Any chance of a sample pic of one of these caps Berlin? Even if we dont want them as an Org thing i may be interesetd in one for myself :)

We're getting GMII tshirts made up with the usernames on front and back, and a nice logo thingy printed too. I didn't buy one last year, but they were cracking, brilliant design too.

Yes I can sew them onto my jeans along with Bar towels , and grow a big beard and drink Real Ale from my own Pewter Tankard that is secured on a chain from my waistband , listening to Hawkwind ......... this is one step away from being a "Bike Gumby"
It`ll be Goldwings next
