Our eldest has an old moped that broke down early last year and in typical teenager style, it went behind the shed, never to be touched again.
At the time he SORNed it and that was that... until he got a letter saying he now ows £80 for not SORNing it again in January.
Now I was under the impression that once a bike was SORNed it was SORNed until it was next taxed. There was no need to re-SORN it again a year later.
Can someone clarify this for me?
Do you have to re-SORn a bike if its already on SORN?
Cheers,
Carl
