I meant to go to that demonstration about the new bike tests but I slept in. Although I don't think I would have gone anyway because it was raining:p
Got soaked riding my wee sv over to the dealer and handed over the keys.
Gave him [my bike] a final hug, and cried all the way home!:smt005

thought about going out this morning as it was nice and bright. Glad I didn't as it has been pouring down since lunch time.
Ended up spending the day with my son watching Tom and Jerry cartoons.
Been out and about a couple of times, may have to go out again on a milk run :-| Then again I have enough beer in the fridge :D

What a day for rain.
:driving: Took the wife and kid to Livinsgton. Asda for the wife and Toys R Us for the kid. Usual. Spent a fortune on both and nothing on me.....
Got home, took myself to my garage and spent about an hour looking at my fender extender and trying to work out how to fit the blooming thing :smt022.. ...have now given up...

I used the marine sikaflex to fit mine, held it on with clothes pegs and it's been as soldi as a rock ever since. No holes required.

Ah, but there are two holes on the fender AND the extender which line up together - must be there for a reason me thinks....and thinks.....and thinks somemore.....why oh why don't they just supply the SV with a longer fender.....

Went out the day to a mates to rip apart the brakes on the 9r and replace the 6 pots with 4 pots, and junk all the rubber brake lines with braided stuff. Well worth the hassle.
Got soaked going there, and going home. Felt like turning round and chasing a van ***** who decided to speed up going through a deep puddle once he saw I had stopped short of a flooded area of road. The 10 foot high wave of water from his van soaked me. Ignorant asswipe..... If I ever see a Renault van with the Reg Plate SG08 HBX he's getting a brick thrown through his windscreen and all his tyres slashed.......:rambo::rambo:
Fender Extender?
Don't **** around, drill a hole through both using the sticky tape stuff on the extender already there, and use some self tapping screws..
Thats how I did it :)
I done the same with my fender ext just used self tappers that came with it no problems just watch when you drill the holes you dont go to far into tyre

Friday - Took a run up to Fort William to see Alisuzuki finish walking the West Highland Way (well done!) and to see the last bit of the Scottish Six day Trials. Rain, rain and more rain!! Poor wee bike is manky!
Saturday - Out drinking the previous night with Ali and Meerkat! 'Nuff said! Walked to the town from the Glen Nevis camp-site. Rain had been horrendous during the night. Fresh snow on top of the mountains. Some SSDT sections near the camp-site. Dougie Lampkin won and saw him being interviewed. Best bit though, was no. 57 (a female trials rider) clearing the Town Hill Brae, after a bunch of lads had he-hawed with laughter at the thought of a mere woman doing the section. The look on their faces was priceless when she cleared it.
Sunday - packed away the tent in the first real dry spell of the week-end. Took a run out the Nevis road, until the road stops and then continued on foot to the the High falls. Sun was now scorching and the scenary was stunning. Felt rewarded for having to put up with the really carp weather before-hand! Unfortunately, then I had to go home!

Awfy boring weekend as usual Kate! ;) Good for you, think most folks stayed indoors. Got out today for a while, went to Area 51 with BWR guru as they've sponsored our patches for the run. Mental bikes there!
