I'm looking at second hand bikes and trying to gauge if they are good buys or not. With cars you have glass's or parkers, I'm assuming there is a biking equivelant.
What is it and is there an online version similar to glass?
At the moment I basically use comparison in autotrader which is ok but not the most scientific.
Thanks

i belive BIKE magazine has a used bike section in the back or at least it used to, on the other hand what bike or which bike mag does with expected prices for used models

depends on the SV it is because you can pick up some bargains which save £1500 when you can get a year old SV for £3k. However on your SS600's seems to be less attractive due to thrashing in that year etc . . .and price drop isn't as big in comparision.

I've got loads of Ride/Bike mags if you want 'em, complete with reviews, and used prices.

The used prices tend to be a bit wrong. Just look up completed listings on eBay and knock a little bit off (eBay tends to fetch more)
best bet is comparing all of them parkers, bike trader, ebay
