hello all, names lee'....seasoned biker of 26 years, finally bought a mint sv650s (sk4 pointy)today(always liked em) had most bikes u care to mention, really impressed with the sv so far...anything i need to look out for? cheers oh and i go to squires a few times a week so look out for me and my monkey':cool:

You need to look out for the mad org'ers ... they are everywhere.

Oh you mean the bike! Has it got a fender extender, if not silicone the front plug or don't go out in the rain. Other than that they are awesome ickle bikes

Ohh Lee your bike is almost identical to mine, Black K4 pointy good choice hun :thumbsup: get a belly pan to protect ya down pipes, looks nice too x

hiya lee - when you say yorkie boy, is that like yorkshire boy or York in North Yorkshire? I'm assuming the 2nd as I'm from york & down at squires as much as possible as well :D based in acomb just off beckfield lane

there's about 4 or 5 of us who attend every wednesday (subject to weather) but as we get more into summer, there's sometimes as many as 12 of us hanging round causing a fray or somet :D

yorkshire m8..squires is a 80 mile round trip for me, but always go every weds/thurs/sat/sun normally:D

eeh bloody hell...

make sure you post in the pennine massive section of these forums then - like I say theres quite a few of us who meet most wednesdays and some sundays if we can get a day pass from her in doors lol. Quite a few of our lot come from west yorkshire and ride over together as well :)

what shelly was supposed to say was use silicon GREASE on the front spark plug cap to get a better waterproof seal... also keep an eye on the front cylinder drain hole...

southwest m8..near woodhead, yes ive seen sat's ride, would love to but im at a 40th bbq grrrrrrr....next one defo in...oh and i know mark well aka captain nemo;)

already added a few bits...black double bubble screen, fenda ext' crash nungs and solo seat!....a nice carbon exhaust next on list and renthal bars conversion:D
