If anyone is thinking of doing a bit of touring in UK and needs a room this offer was emailed to me
http://www.travelodge.co.uk/search_and_book/
Might come in handy for anyone wanting a cheap room. I`ve booked a room for Mike and I in Carlisle and think £29 is extremely reasonable

Wish Travel lodges were cheap for us... we can get rooms for £19 per night.. but then we bring in the dogs and it suddenly goes up by £40 LOL but still it is a lot cheaper than paying the £59 they usually are +£20 per dog.... although a word of advice.. if you take your dog to a travel lodge and book online.... take your printout of your confirmation that you have paid for your dog... as they will try and charge you again... we forgot that we had paid for the dogs at one of them and ended up paying an extra £40 for both dogs... ended up paying about £110 for 1 night once we got home and worked it out!!

You're married and stop derailing Claires thread unless you book us an org night out.

Now there`s a thought, a Travelodge Org Night out, not a bad idea. Each room accommodates 4 people so £29 between four of us plus a night out somewhere...... cheap night
PS: would be for me anyways cos 2 gin and tonics and i`m out the game lol

Thanks for the heads up Claire, I've gotta go away with work in a few weeks, and we get paid a set amount for accomodation. With that link I can stay just off the M6 & spend the difference on drink!
I think I owe ya a coffee etc at the next rideout. :)

Thanks hun. If I'm not spending anything on accomodation I'll treat you to a meal - though I'm a little rusty on decent places to eat in Staffs...
