How happy are you with your life in general?

10 = My life is bliss and I'm very happy

I've climbed the ladder from 1 over the last eight months. Now I'd say it were about 6/7.

I'm sorry, but the programmer in me says that your question isn't specific enough.

The answer varies depending on the applicable timeframe. Please specify. :)

I've gone "8".

The only things that can be improved at the moment are work (I have too much to do at the moment), I could do with some "me time" and few extra quid in the bank wouldn't hurt ;)

Homelife, relationships (family and friends), social life, health, etc are all in good order. Like I said, just need more time to enjoy 'em.

7 for me. Started a new job on monday and despite having to take a £10k pay drop, I'm just happy to be back as a working professional with a wage coming in and my house no longer something I might have to give up. :)

A lottery jackpot win would push it up to 10 (until I hit the 'money can't make you happy' crap (which I don't actually believe anyway))

I voted seven, i think more money and less hours at work would make it a 10!!!!

6... Money and other issues making life hard..

A job would bring it up to about 7 or 8...

6. But fluctuates wildly. I'm finishing my job on Friday, and should find out if I get a job I've been after by the end of may. That'll be great, it'll be the start of a career. I'm looking forward to a summer out of work and with Izi, but I'm not looking forward to her going to uni. So it depends what I'm thinking about :p

If you think that life's hard, be glad you're not a chicken..

You only get smashed once, laid once, and the only bird to sit on your face is your Mum. :smt019

Stressed at the moment with exams and work is unbelievably tedious. :(

Still could be worse so chin up and onwards to better things...

Your life now

Syntax error. Did you mean "Your life until now?"

I'll play nicely & assume you did...

Well, highschool was probably a 7, college was probably as near to 10 as I've been, university started off around a 6, and steadily went down. Then it's gone back up to probably 8ish.

Around about a year or so ago it's gone to 0, then hovered around 1-2 for a while, and recently it's been hovering around 9, with the odd dip perhaps as far as 7.

Maybe it'd been easier if I'd of done a graph & posted that?

Well, you asked, shouldn't of asked if you didn't want to know. :p

Im happier in myself more now than i have ever been, over the last few years ive changed immensly and look at life in a totaly different way, i look around and see some many people struggling through life, slaving away with there heads down never taking time to look up at the sky or the moon or watch a sunset, i think they are doing themselves an injustise focusing to much on money/material things and purhaps if they lived differently they could take time out to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. People have lost the art of being happy whats the point of rushing along through life working every hour god sents to make ends meet, id rather live in a tent than slog my guts out until i retire. I think the poll results speak volumes im happy to be able to say i voted 9 there is always room for improvement :D

My advice for what its worth is stop and just look around once in awhile at lifes wonders, lifes just a fleeting moment in time and if you dont it will pass you by.

We did something a while ago at a training course that we nicknamed the "emo tree".

You had to choose where you were, it was silly. :D

I 'll go with 8 at the moment.
Hoping to be back at 9 as soon as I get a few things sorted (soon).
But......we're going to need a bit more money to make 10.

keithd
14-05-09, 07:15 AM
i'd have to go with a 7....

things have been trés stressy for me of late, but to be honest they're just ordinary day to day problems really, no problems with health, touch wood, got a lovely house, two holidays booked this year. always want more but thats human nature i guess....
