Hi all,

Just started breaking my curvy trackbike.
Anybody want any parts before I start sticking them on ebay?
PM or email (//svbits@skov.co.uk) me if you do.

-John

Update:
There's photos of some of the parts here (http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/john.scothern/SVBits?feat=directlink):
Not many yet, but I'll keep adding them as I strip her down!
If you can't see a part you want - ask!

No, it's not the one in the photo, that's my roadbike, but it is the same year and colour! (1999, yellow).

No race shock - I stuck one off a 636 in there.
The forks are off a bandit, and are pretty much the same as the standard SV ones...

Standard down pipes with a scorpion race can.
Pipes look in great condition (tempted to put them on my roadbike :p), but the can has been down the road a bit!

C&S?

Got some Giles rearsets and an unused, unpainted seat unit too...

14-05-09, 04:42 PM
I need a bit... but not sure what to call it exactly!

I'm after the black plastic trim that sits on the underside of the upper fairing, next to the dash, and is attached on by the wing mirror screw. It is a triangular piece of plastic. I think you just undo the wing mirror screw and it should come off. Oh, and it's the righthand side one that I need!
(The bloody thing just fell off as I pushed the bike out of the garage! :smt104)

I've got the full engine available (minus starter motor), and most of the running gear.
The engine's in good working order and runs sweet as a nut.

Looking for frame, engine wheels etc, what you got left please ?

I've still got:

Frame/yokes (no V5, but could be applied for I guess)
Both wheels/discs (colours don't match - front wheel black, rear wheel silver)
pair of part worn supercorsa pro race tyres
Swing arm
race seat unit (as new)
rear subframe (standard, but modded for above)
standard rear panels, yellow (bit tatty)
Tank, yellow - dented
standard clear screen
2 pairs clip ons
Looms
Complete front and rear brake systems (with HEL lines on front)
Complete exhaust system with race can (some cosmetic damage to the end can, but down pipes good)
Front seat
Giles rearsets
rear shock
Igntion coils
clocks - damage to casing, but work ok
Few other odds and sods

The edges look quite ripped up, but I think there's still a fair bit of meat left. I was expecting to get a few more track days out of them.
I'll whip them off and have a proper look when I get a chance.
