I've never had a bad enough crash in the car to set off an air bag (thankfully) even though I've lost count how many car accidents I've had
What happened?
Airbags hurt. Period.
hope you're ok!

They still have to fit one very important saftey device into cars.....
A big ass spike right in the midde of the wheel, that should convice people to crash less, though for some it won't help.
Sorry you crashed, hope your okay much damage to you? Heal fast.

Sorry to hear about your air bag experience.
I am sure it will always be a big shock when they do go off!!
At least your not dead! I always had an idea for Novilty airbags! You woudlnt know you have one until it went off! Imagine a Hamburger shaped airbag, or a giant Tit!
Sorry to hear about you tale of woe. As they say, things can only get better!!

They do hurt. My arms were cut/abraded/burned to bloody ribbons by mine.

Ouch... sorry to hear that. How more badly hurt would you have been tho without the airbag?

You seem ok so that's really what matters. How bad is the car?
yeah I'm fine, was driving along in my lane car coming towards me swerves round a parked car and into my lane/my car. don't remember much about the accident really, spoke to her today and her point was I can't believe u didn't see me. insurance FYI
my side think it should be pretty simple,I'll believe it when user it,but I do have a courtesy/hire car coming tomorrow,so all good.
car is def a write off, fair ammount of front end damage and with the airbags going off it'll def be a write off considering the value of it! just glad I had the bike for getting to work.
I can't believe how much emphasis is put on personal injury claims tho. every person I have spoken to from the insurance have pushed to see if I want a claim put in. am I wrong to think a sore cheast and shoulder from an accident is acceptable? I know there's no damage done,so I'm not claiming!

Claim whiplash Lulz. Sorry about your car though.. :(
Personal Injury claims are where they all make their money from, which is why they push it.

Good for you mate, too many people take the p155 with those and thats what pushes our premiums up.
Glad your ok; and hope your responce to the woman was, I cant belive you didnt stop!
re: personal injury claims, i've just had a call from my insurer regarding an accident i had in jan. The other insurance company has offered £1100 for my injury, even though i was very honest and described it accurately and didn't expect nor want any payment for it. Basically it was a bruised leg - some nice colours but it didn't stop me doing anything and i stated such. All i actually want is my now scuffed kit replacing, as it was pretty new.
Anyway glad you are ok. I think i would describe your injuries but just be honest. Hope the insurance sorts everything out quickly.
It hurts, alot.
My car is in a sorry state also.
Sore neck back etc.
Long as you're still here and well mate.

Now I used to agree that claiming was a bad thing until I had my old car written off by someone running in the back of it.I wasnt injured and made no claim for same, but then I got naff all money for the car because it was old.It cost me time and effort to search for a replacement and no way was I compensated for it.I say make a small claim for minor injuries and justify it to yourself as compo for the grief you will endure sorting all this mess out.
