The field is L shaped and this is the other bit.

the Landlord is very proud of his garden and grounds and keeps them in tip top condition. the field had been properly mown every time I've been there.
And one more thing - there's this in the garden. A bit of me is dreading the drunken antics that could happen here, but I know you'll all be very sensible really ;)

Look like a good venue, but there's only ONE table in the front garden. Can we have a sweepstake on who's going to get a seat in the sun??
My votes:
Messie (she's the boss this weekend)
Bear (well would you argue??)
Graciepants (Bear will clear a space for her if she's in those nice leathers)
Andy Brad ('cos we all owe him for the group buy)
Four seats left, anyone else got any suggestions??
Keith. (who'll probably be chief pyromaniac if we have a bonfire)
Four seats left, anyone else got any suggestions??
disabled badge holders only.
Namely Timwilky, Miss Ophic, and perhaps davepreston (if any of this list are actually going)
Well that would be an issue, but that pic was taken a while ago
Was there again yesterday and there are now many tables in the front garden (at least 10 large round ones) so we should be OK. Didn't take the camera yesterday but will get down there again soon

Went on a bit of a reccy run at the weekend and the pub is intimate as opposed to small i'd say.
has a lovely front garden to chill out in and the fields at the back are huge, so i'm sure we wont be suffering for want of space mate :)

Sorry Quiff only just seen this observation. Should be ok for two reasons: 1. They're not real cobbles but small concrete blocks although some care will still be needed
2 There is a huge main parking place in front of this which is good old fashioned plain concrete. This is big enough for us all to congregate at the start of the rideout
oh yes, and they won't be wet because
it won't rain lol!

Nice looking field you got there missie, no-one replied to my other post asking about the size of tent we're taking 7.5x2.5m is that ok? (I intend to park my bike in it ;))
No problems at all. Jim, the landlord, is very chilled and doesn't mind what sort of tents or campers we have. And you can park what you like in it ;)

Not sure of our plan of attack for sunday but do you think Jim would mind us staying an extra night?

From having met Jim just once, I can pretty much guarantee it wont be a problem (I dont think anything ever is for him), probably jus cost you the same as the other nights.
Yup whole field is for us, and there's an overflow field if we fill it lol!
I'm certain Jim wont mind and he'll do you a good deal as well

Guys, I'd love to attend, but as i said months ago somewhere, there are some issues that are keeping me away. One is I'm skint, two is I work weekends (its my contracted hours) we don't get many holidays as we get to sit on our bums between Jan and Easter. I've pretty much got my 6 days this year booked out. I've had my one event of the year already, I wanted some more but them nasty people at work just don't like to give me time off!
Theres other things too (personal ones)
I would like to say however, that Messie looks to really have gone to a whole load of time and effort to get this going, and on her own it seems. Make sure you all behave and have a good time.
Oh and that is still one maaahhhhhooooosive field:-P
