Well I have been checking up on nestboxes for the last 3 months for a friend doing her PhD, and I can report back today that we so far have 3 families of 9 blue tit chicks :D

Here are some pics. Please note, the boxes were only open for long enough to take the pics then left alone, no blue tits were disturbed in the making of this thread :) They only get checked once a week to minimise disturbance.

Yeah they are ugly to start with but ugly in a kinda cute way hehe.

Would have to be a very tiny piece of toast! They're each about the size of a 50p piece :cool:

Lol, there's loads of those on the net already :p We have 18 boxes to check, with 3 families hatched and another few on the way hopefully. With 200 boxes up in all, no time to do much else!

And I agree with Darren, you just wanna perve on some tits, you don't fool us ;-)
