seriously considering this... Anyone else got a sense of humour?
Could make for some great photo opportunities and a good way of remembering who you were chatting to when you've forgotten their name
"oh yeah I was talking to the guy dressed as a whoopee cushion" or "that guy dressed as michael jackson is Yorkie Chris"
etc.
If anyone else is up for it, let get some ideas together - if the outright answer is no, please say so as I've turned upto a 'fancy dress' night out in town where everyone else decided not to bother at the last minute. I lost count of how many times I got asked "ere, so why are you dressed as a roman soldier then?"

Whilst it will probably be a laugh, I've already got enough crap to pack on to the bike without trying to find room for fancy dress :elephant: - so I'm oot.

I'd be up for it as i think fancy dress is always a laugh, but i too worry about the packing it with all the other stuff.

I like the idea a bit but can see the problems as well.
So I'm going to stay firmly on the fence, hope I don't get splinters, and watch to see what everyone decides!

Not a bad idea though Paul, from your piccy it looks like you could carry it off.
As for myself, Im quite undecided at the moment, maybe for safety reasons it should be post-rideout as most ideas I have would be totally inappropriate to wear on the bike.

you fancy it SK? So far there's me and dave numbers, nick the gr33k has said yes if he can get time off work (doubt it considering the tricks the raf have pulled on him in the past) and ploppy lee said yes he would definitely do it - if he was coming...

gonna have a scout round some charity shops and see if I can find any old suits/kravats/flat caps/walking sticks...

:) need to get this sorted otherwise it'll end like time I was dressed as a roman in town & all my mates had decided not to bother doing fancy dress at the last minute. Then when a guy nicked my sword I went home.. What a wierd night that was lol

update:
I've bought a flatcap and a tweed jacket off ebay, and I've also found a small animal to bring with me (although its not a ferret as there were only 2 of them on ebay, both for £200 each). Just need some dappa shoes, red socks, brown trousers, possibly a shotgun and we're there :D
maybe we can get some elephants, lions jugerlers etc, and turn it in to a circus

PMSL, i saw a write up about a guy who did this. Spent some serious time and energy on it and sold it for about £800 quid cos it was so good. :shock:

Thanks VT but i wouldnt buy one online simply cos i wouldnt trust the fabric or stitching to stretch enough to go over my leathers. I;d have to get it from a shop and try it on there otherwise it'd be a waste of time if it didnt fit. or was too baggy and got ripped of me as i ride the bike, lol.
