You're not really going to get cheap tbh, some charge a little less for fitting etc but not much in. Don't think there's going to be much difference in the price of tyres either.
I normally get my tyres at guildford tyres in chilworth

Cheap is the last description I would use on Guildford Tyres.
Lately I've been getting tyres from God knows where & looking for cheap fitting - Which 'Ride In' in Reading is very good at. Try them for buying tyres as well :smt102
Erm, one in fleet, road wheels and tyres maybe.
Pretty good price plus you're allowed to stand around and watch em do it and bother them with questions which is nice :)
Another vote here for ride-in at Reading. I live a few hundred yards from Road Wheel in Fleet and given the way they treated me the couple of times I went in for quotes I would certainly never entertain giving them any business.
Also worth checking out Micheldever tyres but only if you have a need to go out there otherwise the savings will be eaten up iin fuel.

I never said they were cheap
Well managed to get an Avon storm for £96 fitted to a loose wheel, about £15 less than anywhere else close to me so pretty happy with that. now i get to see how many miles i get out of a fresh one :O

Anyone know the cheapest place online for a pair of AVon storms?

http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=901822&kw=avon+storm
the above are what I've found so far

anyone?
You're in a Londonish thread, you clot :p
I'd try RoundAndBlack on t'ebay normally, but in this case both your links have them beat by £10 + P&P for SV sizes. Have you given National Tyres a buzz over at Barnsley?

I just rang Guildford tyre for a quote on replacement PR2s for the zed...£275 :-s
thought they must have made a mistake so had a look round but that seems the standard rate.
i bought a set of these not long after they came out and had them fitted for about £220
Clearly Michelin don't want to sell many tyres at the mo!
Have opted for Avon Storms for a heck of a lot less so we'll see how they fare.

Just ask if they can replace the middle bit of the tyre as that'll be the only bit that's worn ;)

Just parted with £172 for a pair of Avon storms, an oxford tank pad and 2x 500ml cans of chain lube.
hmmm don't feel tooo ripped off.
Still gotta pay £15 - £20 to get the tyres fitted & balanced though :(

Good afternoon all.
As I give org members a bit of a discount, let me know what you require tyre wise & I'll see what I can do.
As I'm located very close to junction 1 of the M3 I'm probably not too far from most of you.
Cheers.
P.S. I make decent coffee too:D
