Whats your dream job? if you could choose anything in the world?
I would pick a BSB rider but i got no chance lol some thing at least half realistic would be a doctor but I'm to thick.
Page 3 photographer.
Failing that, a fighter jet pilot in the RAF.
journolist of the vehicle kind.....cars/bikes/planes/boats that would be my dream.
Not just for the good cars and bikes. I would be quite happy writing an article for What Car? on a bunch of superminis.
Just a job that involved some degree of driving/riding

I would like to be paid £500k/year to be blown by Elisha Cuthbert three times a day.
My dream job of current existing jobs or professions would have to be a top notch music producer.
To get a full time job :)
Something involving women, bikes and drinking wouldn't go down badly..

If I had the skills, a wildlife photographer. Can't think of anything better travelling all over the world to find secretive, less well known and unusual creatures to bring to life on camera.

Working on Brainiac or Mythbusters.
Braniac is a poor rip off of the mighty Mythbusters.
But my vote... working on MYthbusters or....
Be an MP...hell they work part time, get great holidays, cheat the system as far as they can and then say it was someone elses fault and get let off with fraud. What fun they have. And thats obviously apart from sleepig with their secrtatries and gong on paid for holidays in the pretence of being "fact findind quangos" And then i'd take this fella as my advisor and off we'd go

You will soon get fed up of that :smt023 I have never met a bunch of people that hate there jobs as much as the aerospace engineers at Rolls Royce.
When I get bored I pop down to the test beds to watch some cool stuff but they seriously could not give a crap and just sit with miserable faces moaning about the weather lol

Hmm I dunno, I'm really looking forward to it, assuming I get it. It's not all aerospace stuff though. I just like making things and it'll be a good place to learn a load of new skills, and a couple of years down the line, get paid handsomely for doing so :)

My dream job woudl be to have no job.
I.e a mahoosive lottery win that meant I never had to work again. I'd then pick a hobby and just go off and do that instead and if I was cr*p at it, well then it wouldnt matter as I wouldnt be trying to earn a living from what I was doing.

I've known I was finishing my job for weeks, and I've saved up a good wadge of money to tide me through. Today was my first day unemployed, and I'm bored stiff already.
I really would love a job again!

How much would you have to win to be able to lead a "comfortable" life (Ie a fairly posh car, like a top spec 320d or something, nothing too fancy, to be able to choose what you want to buy for dinner and have Sky etc..
I'd guess around 5m if you kept it in a high interest account? Say you were 35 and would theoretically die aged 85.

Went to Maldives a few years ago for a diving holiday and the instructors were telling us they got free food and accomodation so hardly any outgoings at all.
But this kind of job would actually not be about the money at all for me. It is just so stress free and fantastic lifestyle. And if your island is big enough you could even ride your bike around the island :)
Have been diving for about 4 years now and even mad enought to brave the cold uk waters. Do much prefer the warmer waters though :)

I'm 19 now, I figure to be comfortable I'd want 50k a year, so til I'm 90 that'd be about 3.5 million.

Thats what I would be after, stress free to me is also not having to worry at all about money and not having to think "Can I afford to do that"
My ideal job would be something motorsport or cycling based I think. Just working away in the background, nothing to flash or anything like that. Just something I could do in the background that brought real benefit to who I was working for. Something that returned a high level of job satisfatction would be high on my list.

Taking into account bills, morgage, taxes and etc?
Lottery win is untaxed as far as I know. 50k cash a year.. you wouldn't be comfortable with that?!

Would be ace to be a racer, but not many people make a living from it. Not many of the BSB racers have that as a full time job, they have to work as well. To be honest I would just love to have enough cash in the bank to race.
I'm considering traffic as a possiable career path in a few years, but only 10% of job is riding/driving. My old skipper said that for 5 mins on blues is an hour of greif. Besides in traffic you still have paper work! I'm also cosdersing being an AFO or youth enganment.
I have had few awesome jobs, but I have found the most interesting jobs just don't pay loads of money. I taught sailing in the US, that was amazing fun but I got paid about $570 USD i think, back in 99.
I have worked on a few feature films, high profile TV I have several national and international credits to my name shows as crew that was good fun but again work can be hard to come by. One of friends said that I can't be a true creative as I won't "strave for my art" I eating and bikes far too much!
I haven't met a rich dive instructor yet, the jobs pays next to nothing te thing is its worth your not diving for fun. I think a dive master/master diver would be more fun.
I would like to involved in music, film art scence, but as above its really hard to make a really living from it, there are many that don't get old and have sweet FA. Is it worth it? I think as much as I would want that, just make another of hobbies in a few years.
The thing I like about my current job is that everyday can be very different or just rountine. It can be execting, but also scary espically a huge fight. The downside, it is the huge amount paper work.
Long as its intereting, I will do it. I hate rountine jobs, I hate being stuck inside its my idea of hell, so is wearing a suit I only have one, it was last worn over 2 years ago. I would like to have intresting life, thats my main thing.

Yeah I am currently a Sound Engineer/PA Systems Tech but would like to just be the lazy Band Engineer hehe
Errr how easy was it? I started off working for nowt for a local venue and eventually after a couple of years was asked if I wanted to work for a reputable Sound company.
It seemed to come easy for me but I was ridiculously lucky. Being able to work for free and being ethusiastic is the key.
Beer tester or bike tyre tester as long as whatever was to be tested was somewhere like Newzealand or similar :p

Perks of the job n all that....

Working towards getting the first fusion reactor actually producing more energy than it is put in. (Or at least prove that it can't/can be done.) A place in Caradache would be nice, but they don't have much use for a software engineer. :( Damn physicist that can't write code :(
