I've considered posting this for some time, but I figure the benefits outweigh the negitives. So here goes...
I've found out about a new bike meet here on Anglesey, the only bad thing for most people here is that it's on a Wednesday evening, so it clashes with BP meets.
Personally, it gives me more choice. If I want to get out of the house on a wednesday evening, I've now got the choice of doing the distance to the Farmers or going to the one on the island. I don't see that as a bad thing TBH. :)
Anyway, the meet is at Y Bodol, which is here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=LL69+9YR&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=13.626984,40.517578&ie=UTF8&ll=53.387027,-4.317305&spn=0.006706,0.019784&z=16&iwloc=A), and starts 9pm. You can't miss it if you follow the A5025 from Menai Bridge/Four Crosses towards Amlwch.
The generous offer I spoke of, well...
At the meets there's free food laid on by the landlord (sandwhich type buffet). Additionally to that, anyone wanting a ride on a sunny sunday, turn up at Y Bodol for a free coffee & a chat with other bikers about where you want to go as a group!
Even better, the landlord has graciously offered free camping to anyone on a bike. At any time of year, be that racing at Trac Mon, or you just want to come & do tourist type things in North Wales.
Oh, and I'm told the bacon butties are unimaginably good.
