Well today I opened a junk mail or so I thought.
It would appear that 6 years ago, I took out what I thought was a free insurance option on my credit card to protect against the cost of misuse.
Now the cheeky buggers want to charge me 70 quid automatically against my credit card. I must have missed the last automatic renewal.
I have cancelled it now. So just glad I caught this one.
The waffle to say what protection I get, licences, passport, wallet, keys assistance. FFS I can sort all that myself if any of them get lost quite easily.
I have not used my credit card for over 3 years, it sits in the safe with my important docs, so why do I need to insure against mis use?
and blinking annoyed that anyone can make a charge against my card without explicit authorisation. or is that the mis use they would have paid out for?
