I foolishly volunteered for the London to Brighton Cycle ride again this year. Please see below my sponsor page and please help me reach bigger target than last year.

Im going to do this again one year!. Best of luck, Ditchling beacon is a killer...not in that way, but its the last hing you need after 50 miles is a dirty great hill!

Three years on the trot I tried to do this and its always oversuscribed and I never get in. Im really annoyed about it, might have to start running and do a marathon instead!

Thanks! I need all the luck I can get!! Thanks for reminding me about Ditchling Beacon... I remember now how hard that bit was but once you got to the top the views were fantastic!!

Well I do it with the company I work for and if you managed to get a team entry in the year before you get early registration the following year. They seem to favour team entries which is why I have been roped into doing it again. Well it will be good ....I think...
Maybe next year we should try enter a team from the .org ?

The beacon is great. Just remember when approaching it how much energy you will need to beat it.
Take it easy and get in the right gear early and it should be a doddle.
A few years ago there was a guy selling T shirts but he was a little bit lower than the top and I didn't have the legs to stop and get going again. I missed a t shirt that year but I know I did it.

I will be there too, but not on a pushbike. I will be on a white motorbike and have to start work at 4am :smt089.

Should be a cool event but ride safe I dont want to find any bikes under any cars.
