I am thinking of getting a new helmet as the one i have is not the best in the world.
I am looking to spend about £200-£250 on one and i was looking for some suggestions that you think are good ones to get.
Thanks in advance
I love my raid II shoei, it cost about £200 when i got it. The only complaint i have about it is how cold my chin gets in the winter! lol Great helmet and much quieter than my last hjc, but then it was double the price :)
Make sure it's one that fits properly yadda yadda yadda
imho HJC make good value helmets - you can get their funcky carbon-fibre jobbie for that money

I wear bmw lids...but I doubt you'd go for one I just like to be different. Last one did a decent job of saving my life though...

HJC do make great lids i rate them having hit the deck in 2 of them, i went from HJC to ARAI (budget arai that is) i find the arai a great lid but one of the nosiest ive owned.

I've had an FM, an AGV, and then 4 arai's, say no more
last time I was in Hein Gericke they were trying to persuade me to look at other lids, and the others have definitely come on leaps and bounds in the last ten years and I admit some are even better than the jap lids, but the arai's just fit the shape of my noggin so well
My advice is to find out what suits your fit from one of the big stores then find it at a good price. Race meets and BMF events are good for this, in fact I saw Viper GTs at Donnington today for £200

I'd recommend an FS10 in Carbon. Very comfy, who cares about noise, get earplugs, and flip down internal visor is nice.
I would strongly recommend tyring an X-lite lid i tried one on in HG and to be honest i could'nt decide between the X-lite and the arai chaser i went for in the end. X-lite was much cheaper but it seemed to be really well made and it really was extra light lol i think they're made by Nolan.

I like my Nolan N-103 flip front with internal sun visor, paid £230ish online, bit noisy but that's what plugs are for. Not sure I could go back to a non-flip-front now, best of both worlds! Slightly heavier than regular full face helmets by about 200g, but doesn't bother me at all being 6ft5in and the wrong side of 19st...

pinlock & dark visor thrown in as well, you can't argue with that, the "Ice" pattern is starting to grow on me now to.

only thing I know about shark helments is they don't fit me, but quite like that, kind of retro in looks.....Nice.
