I am now looking for an administrator to give me the delete post rights as I can't remove the post from the forum. Anyone got any suggestions.

You can't delete your OP... just edit it and say "Repost sorry".. however to remove posts you just click "edit" and in the little window that comes up there's a box it says "reason for deletion" and "delete yes/no" and then click delete.
