Anyone watching this?
The surgeon must be so nervous, doing a procedure on live tv. Don't think I'd want to be the patient

Channel four are usually the ones that do stuff like this. Did you ever see the live autopsy's? That was weird

i'm watchin it. Its fascinating stuff. I also watched the autopsy thing if you're talking about that german or austrian dude with the hat and the "plastinated" bodies.
Most awesome TV program for ages.
Knowing the approach surgeons take, I'd be surprised if they were nervous TBH.
They're trained to perform operations where a person's life hangs in the balance. If they aren't sure what they're doing, they don't do it period. It's not worth the risk.
Having cameras there will probably be more of an annoyance as they'll be getting in the way!!
I've got to say that the surgeon seemed quite happy for them to be there - he cracked a few jokes, made sure that we got good views of the mitral valve when the consultant in the studio told him the camera was too close etc., and when he did need to fully concentrate the camera crew quite happily took a break so he could get on with the tricky part.
Really looking forwards to the brain surgery tonight :D
watched a bit of it.... and i am not bothered by stuff like this but my chest started aching watching it... so turned it off.... It was amazing to see but i think it was a bit much for me.
