xbox360 racing game?

Anyone got any good racing games to recomend? Ive got burnout but Im just not interested in playing a racing/destruction derby/RPG in a car game.

I want Gran Torismo racing on real tracks with real cars but I cant seem to find a game like that for the 360, anyone got any good ones?

I searched online for 360 racing games, this didnt come up. I looked in Game in new and second hand sections for racing games, this wasnt there!

Looks very good. And if its better than GT3 then wooo! I loved that game on the PS2.

Just reading more about FORZA and its only got 12 tracks and not all of them are real either :smt102 whats that about!! can you download new real tracks?

Forza's brilliant. Only annoying thing is the lack of good online racing. I don't want to have to spend hours "building" a competitive car for every class and there are never any games being hosted which just run one single unmodified car type whenever I play. I end up starting a game myself, limiting the choice of cars to a bog standard Elise or something and then find myself hotlapping on my own whilst nobody joins in :)

I think it's 12 environments, and a lot of configurations. I don't think there's a shortage of tracks to choose from. You can download others I believe, but not for free iirc. I haven't bothered though.

Testdrive unlimited is worth a punt still.
Oldish game but still good fun.
Once all the car showrooms are unlocked you can then get to the motorbikes. Ducati, Kawasaki, Triumph and MV Augusta.

PGR 3 aint too bad but it's not just racing it's drifting and cone dodging and carp

get the ms wireless force feedback steering wheel and you are set with forza 2

codemasters racing games are great. my fav racing game of all time is toca touring cars 2
