OK, I've had three sales fall through now (:smt086) and none of the issues were to do with the bike (finances, licenses, wasting time etc)! So here you go, 4th time lucky.....

It's crunch time, it breaks my heart but here we go....

My much cherished 2001 yellow curvy with 6036 miles on the clock (all MOTs to prove) has got to go.

The good stuff:

6036 miles (all mine have been in the dry!)
Suzuki lowers
Fenda extender
Piping on seats
Uprated front springs
Fresh pads all round
Fresh oil and filter
New(ish) Metz front and back (<2k miles)
Mirror spacers
Scropion can
Tinted screen
Spare exhaust
Spare screen
Haynes manual
No pitting on forks
No rust
And the bad stuff:
I laid it down on the driveway late last year - I put the stand down on a pebble and away it went! The damage is minimal and is only to the left lower fairing:

Other than the fairing damage (which really is minor!) the bike is in fantastic condition. I bought it from a forum user a while back and it's lived in my carpeted and double-glazed garage ever since. I've only ever used it in the dry - it's had an easy life.

I'm selling it because I had a bad tumble off my push bike(!) a few weeks ago and have broken my back. I'll not be riding (or doing much else at all really!) for some considerable time to come.

The bike is located in sunny Cheshire at CW2 5AN (that's just 5 mins from Crewe railway station, or 10 mins from J16 of the M6).

It's taxed until the end of October and it's MOT is due in September.

Any questions please ask.

I'm looking for £1775

Having owned that bike I can vouch that it is superb :) I miss it really, only owned it for a year or so at a time when I wasn't able to ride much (too much work on)

Sad to say "Sorry" again to Graham.
Headology makes a play and I can't have it. Somebody will get a fantstic piece of kit from somebody that seems like a real good Bloke! Sad that it's not going to be me.

The seats are standard seats - they have just been covered. The covers make the seats more comfortable and a bit grippier than standard. Plus they look different and pretty cool.

Carty - you know more about the bike than I do!

Haha! I did take pride in owning that bike - I've never seen a better condition bike of that age, it is truly mint (apart from that tiny little fairing scuff). The chap who I bought it off had the worst case of OCD ever known. He would never ride it out in less than perfect sunshine and he kept it in his heated garage under three blankets :D.

When I owned it I was working away in London and hardly ever got to ride it but then I wanted to get my GSXR. Two years later my GSXR is in nowhere near as good condition as that bike! :smt022

If I had the spare money I'd buy it back off you!

Cheers,
Matt

I don't know why it's not sold, I seem to have attracted more than my fair share of buyers with issues of one sort or another! I've actually sold it 4 times, and each time the buyer has dropped out for some reason other than the bike! I'm losing the will to live.

If it wasn't for the fact that I'm now sporting a broken back I'd not be selling it.

Never mind the previous owners, I think I've got my own OCD complex when it comes to looking after it - it really is in fine condition.

Somebody must be prepared to part with some pennies for this. Anybody want to spend £1775? ;-)
