In fairness that poll is over 3yrs old tho and i'm sure the membership of the Org has changed a fair bit in that time. I know i've said hi to lots of noobies in 3yrs ;)

I think it would be quite interesting to know people's age ranges, I know I've been surprised in the past when people have come across much older than their years on here.

i think the phrase is "yeah come on young people" but i can see why you elected to not say it as such.....

Pete and I think there are certainly more youngsters on here now, and we think it's because the price of the SV has dropped a lot. When we first joined, the SV was still a fairly new bike, and second hand prices a lot higher, possibly putting them out of the reach of young 'uns who had just passed their tests. Now you can buy a still decent Curvy for just over a grand, making them far more accessible for people with limited funds.

Personally, we like the youngsters. They are far less likely to have family responsibilities and be out on their bikes more, giving us people to ride with! :D

I knew this would be a seriously depressing thread when I clicked on it !
It met my expectations :(

I am now the oldest voter in the thread :smt022

On the good side, I don't have to spend any money at hairdressers, my insurance is nice and low.............................

* bo11ocks, I can't think of anything else good about being 52 at all !

Oh yes, just thought of another cheery thought: All you 22 year olds think that it will take a really long time to cover the next 30 years - you are soooo wrong :smt046

G :)

I did wonder if I was the oldest voter as usually when you get to my age:

1, you can't get used to operating new fangled stuff like computers.
2, cos they couldn't find their glasses to read the post.
3, it's hard to hit the right key on the keyboard with shakey hands.
4, they didn't understand the question.

Or in my case "all of the above" :D

Or perhaps as my Dad used to say:

"Son, there are bold motorcyclists, and there are old motorcyclists, but there's no such thing as a bold, old motorcyclist"

When I recently got my bike I mailed him to says that he was almost wrong, as I was now "a bald, old, motorcyclist" :D

I feel old most days, it is a struggle to get out of the bath, tying my boot laces is hard work and to be honest I am always tired. :rambo:

You know what caused this? Excessive sport while in my twenties. Over training has worn me out leaving me arthritic with damaged joints and muscles. :smt118

I love being thirty five! Fortunately I know that with time it will get better... :smt043
