View Full Version : south wales SV650.org pub meets
as there seems to be quite a few new members in the area.............
the MOFO's (bristol) seem to be starting the pub meets back up, and although a few of us from wales popped over, we started or own pub meets called "THE TAFFIA"
so, is anyone intrested in starting them back up. ONCE A MONTH
idealy it would want to be somewhere everyone could get to on the bike, have ample parking beer garden would be nice, and serve food, in the past we have swapped about a bit, so how about starting from scratch. we could even rotate the vennue till we find somewhere we all like:smt017
I work shifts, so work different days on different weeks, but it sounds like a good idea to me!
Sounds good to me, fridays are out for me take the kids to judo:D

Whether there is a cat, and whether that cat is in the bag, is on a need to know basis.

Sounds alright do me, but, depends on time and weeks...
I work a semi-shift pattern, so, one week I'll finish at 3pm, the other at 6pm then it repeats...
Whether there is a cat, and whether that cat is in the bag, is on a need to know basis.
I see. One of them "on a need to know basis" things is it. Like one of them James Bond films.

waht night is the blue anchors meet ??
wednesday, it can get quite busy in the summer though,
thursdays, bike night at the green lady caerphilly, although i hear it has new owners and not sure if they are still on
......... next would be to find a vennue, which we could go back to the tredegar arms, which was nice, and maybe discus a new vennue, if we felt we needed one, personaly, i want to stay out of cardiff, and somewhere that has nice roads around in case we wanted to go for a ride, good parking and a beer garden

The Green Lady is under new owndership as the old land-lady was my Auntie's friend and she is now living in Spain...
I think somewhere on good roads, with beer garden and good surrounding roads is what we need.
Anyone for the Plymouth Arms in St. Fagans?

there! - and for once i know where it is. its alright there - few of my mates used to work there. big car park near the outside seats, reasonable food etc.
dont bother with the hornblower as a rugular meet spot. its on a busy edge of city centre bus route road. the pub itself is long thin type with no windows so you cant see out of it unless you stand in the door so park your bikes at your own risk. used to be full of harley types and moshers but an effing good jukebox in its day
