Pointy Wanted

I will have passed my restricted licence in a few weeks, and am looking to buy a fully faired pointy sv650.
Up to £3,000 to spend.
I am located in birmingham but will travel for the perfect bike.
Not in any rush to buy and im very fussy!

Slip on
Crash Bungs
Mini indicaters
Tinted screen
33BHP restrictor
Tail tidy
Fully faired

However if its at the right price il just add the mods myself. Would like to have the standard parts too.

Look forward to seeing whats out there for me to buy and get riding!!!!

Thanks mate. Are there specific ECU for different years? I have been offered one from a 2003 (SK3) but unsure if it will work?

K3-K6 is the same, K7 is a different plug or something but check around on here to be sure, my memory is probably telling porkies... something like either K6 onwards or K7 onwards is different.

Does k6 refer to the year then ie its an 06 model? Mine is 07 so it will be K7?
I think i have read somewhere K3-K6 but this could be my imagination!
(clearly a newbie!)

So a K3 would be a 2003 model. :)

So yes K7 is a 2007 model, best check with the place you bought it from as it could just be a late registered K6

Ahh rite thats useful to know!
Its a private sale, but 99% sure its a K7, il ring the guy up 2moz.
So ill have a look out for one!
