I've just spied this out of my window. The beach is completely empty, it's raining and gloomy and this is sat close to the water's edge...

That is exactly how I found it, just laid out neatly. Wtf? Some strange cult thing or something? Looking at it now there are 4 gulls looking a bit confused, sat near it but not pecking at it...

Whaddya think orgers, bit of witchcraft? :p

I think you went out on the ****er last night and arranged it for this very moment! :p

No seriously I think it's just kids messing abuot with stuff they found at the beach... or maybe it's a message from keithd.

 For some reason that didn't dawn on me, usually I'm fairly good at spotting that sort of thing! How bloody odd!

Looks to have been left behind by a departing tide or maybe that was the intention, kids playing in receeding surf laying out to confuse adults and they just walked away in the surf ;)

You're just showing off cos you live near the sea. Whilst some of us as stuck as far away from the coast as can be possible...:(:(:(:(:(

Hmm well I watched it get washed away with the tide about half an hour after id taken the pic as it was coming in, it went easily so I doubt it could have been left in the surf...and wouldn't most parent be a tad worried if their kids had managed to get hold of the bones? Besides which there's probably been about 8 people on the beach at the most all day, it's been miserable, and kids are at school...

To be fair we're never more than like 80 miles away from (a) coast, which is easily done in 1 and a half hours each way, and the whole journey there and back can be done without even breaking reserve. Epic win for being in Britain...

You could always live in Germany.. their summer holidays must suck. ;-)

70 or 45 miles from the coast, depending how you measure coast (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/derbyshire/3090539.stm). What a tiny island we live in :D

Someone playing golf managed to lose all his balls without realising they all landed on the beach like that...

Simple really! :p
