As long as you wash it afterwards you can lick away.

Thanks for the backup Darren...Down pipe is a nightmare to clean....need to get out scouring pad to it as autosol and a rag just doesn't cut it.

Polishing kit of web, bout £17, shove it into lectric drill, do the pipe then only need autosol weekly, takes about 20 mins with the kit, then 10 mins a week to keep it up.

Gave it a good scrub up with a rag wraped round a drill buffer with autosol on it and it cleaned it up pretty good. It took out the dicolouration and brought it out nice and shinny ;)

Will get one tomoro when i get in from work...Its nearly as shinny as the radiator and oil cooler covers, not just as shinny as that though. With out droping the headers you cant get perfect. Came out good for half hour work.

hey i was kidding about the downpipe...lol.

Its not a hard job once its shiny...it just takes longer the first time, with elbow grease :-)
I did notice that i needed a pair of shades for that rad cover!

Gave me some motivation to do it though as it did need it and i like my bike kept as good as possible.

Yeah the covers are polished after every wash to keep them good...Will do the same with the down pipe now.

Will Post a pic of the downpipe tomoro and you can judge if its up to your standards.

Yip 20mins worth of elbow grease and a fair bit off autosol.

Am not long in shifting those ladies....start the engine and quick rev and they run for the hills. lol

There a pain in the @rse as they make so much mess.
