I have just removed these from my 05 "S". the bike is very clean with a little over 5000 crash-free miles. I've had it for a few months and it seems to have led an easy life before that.

Hoping for a quick sale so reasonable offers considered (particularly on multiple items). Pick up is preferred (Kettering/Corby, Northamptonshire area) for larger items, but I will post if necessary, and may be able to deliver a short distance (I'm also in Earby/Skipton during the week of the 22nd). I'll list what's not sold on ebay after a few days.

Yokes/Triples. Top is very good, bottom is a little grubby but should clean up well. Includes top nut and bearings £40

Bars: Straight. Includes bar ends. £30

Fender/Mud-guard: Clean and excellent conditon. Has a very slight mark on the front left edge as shown in the pic- seems to be a thin section of paint has rubbed away. Not really noticable when installed (I didn't spot it till it came off). £60

I haven't actually checked to be honest, but if I had to venture a guess I'd say probably not - need somewhere to attach it to the frame I think.

Sorry, but I really don't want to start piecing it out quite that fine. Feel free to PM me on offer on the set though - I'd be happy to not have to list any of it on Ebay.

Forks are still available. I should point out that if you look at the 2nd pic (of the forks) there is a small area where the paint has chipped right by where the axle threads in. Not sure how I missed that detail, but now I've noticed I want to point it out. Would be a very quick and easy touch-up, and they're still in excellent condition otherwise.

Anyhow I'm a bit flexible on price, feel free to PM me an offer.

Cheers,
-Mike

I'd be interested in the mudguard if it's the YHH colour code

We'd need to do something dramatic with the price though I'm afraid, a perfect red one sold on ebay for £46 last week, see item no 180359488828, thats the only red one I've seen but other colours in perfect condition go for much less. A brand new one from a Suzuki dealer is:

53111-16G10-YHH FENDER FRONT (RED) 71.45 + VAT = £82.17

This one is four years old and damaged, a YHH touch up paint stick from Suzuki, cutting compond, laquer and polish to repair the damage is about 20 quid's worth of materials and a lot of time spent painting in and rubbing back.

Can you change price on it?

Damaged is such a harsh word  A little bit of the paint has rubbed off in an inconspicuous area -you can't even feel it as a scratch, and it doesn't exactly stand out when mounted.

If you're looking for one so perfect that you'd go to the trouble to retouch it as you've described above, then I'd definitely suggest starting with a brand new one instead. Me - I'd probably just ask my wife to find me a close shade of cheap nail varnish and call it a day. I'm guessing however that you either have a sick fetish for bodywork, or you're hoping I'll cave in desperation and give it away ;)

The paint code is whatever it is for a stock red K5 SV -was there more than one shade?

Never-the-less, offers are free, so if you see fit to PM me a price you think is reasonable I will gladly consider it.

Cheers,
-Mike

Edit- I just checked out that auction -it has one dodgy picture that seems to show 2 paint chips towards the back right, and is simply described as "SV650 FRONT MUDGUARD FROM 2005 MODEL GOOD CONDITION"

I would retouch it 'cos if I decide not to bother about how it looks, I'll just save myself the money and live with the one thats on my bike now.

I didn't think there was more than one shade, but I have bought red parts off ebay and they've been the wrong colour. Have you still got your owners manual and service book, the colour code should be on a sticker somewhere?

Regardless of severity of damage, given that new one is £80 a 4 yr old one can't be worth £60 quid, brand new carbon fibre can be bought for about £50, so why buy something second hand unless it's much cheaper. I've PM'ed you an offer as suggested, let me know what you think, or maybe you'd prefer to take your chances and get more (or less! :-k) on ebay. ;-)
