That'd look manky. Sell it on Ebay and buy a decent one lmao. Try looking for a specialist link pipe from somewhere like banditmania and have some figures if you're serious.
felt a bit s**t sellinjg it after he gave it to me. dont think it will look that bad! or maybe it will:rolleyes:
gotta look better than whats on there now!

I think it'll look great. I was thinking of doing something like that a while back. Wouldn't you just need a joining clamp?
Northwind had one of those on his curvy for a time. Don't know if he still has. He's had about 200 different cans on it.
Stu had a similar can on his pointy and it sounded the mutts nutts!
Beowulf looks better imho but if its free and you like it fit the bugger!
Personally i like the standard SV can also (tho aving a stubby er6f exhaust for 3yrs may explain that!).

Sidetrack here but has anybody noticed that rear tyre actually has GSXR stamped on it ?
If I was you I would measure the internal diameter of the can with some vernier calipers (for accuracy) or a Steel Rule (close enough) , and measure the outside diameter of your pipes on the bike where they connect underneath . For a can like that to look nice you would be better off having it fit from right underneath the bike . Just be aware that cans like that usually have a tab or a lug welded on them to attach to a footrest hanger or similar to give it a bit of stability and stop it getting ripped off in a right hand spill .
done, gave it ago just now, and it kinda fits with the link pipe but comes out to far back! gonna need a way shorter link pipe!
cheers guys, oh and it sounds EVIL!!!!

I had this:
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/Northwindlowlander/Bike%20tech/Exhausts/sidelow.jpg
But it sounded horrible, it ran fine but it sounded so flat, a wee bit like an SV does when it carb ices. No bass. Horrible.
So then I had this:
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/Northwindlowlander/Bike%20tech/Exhausts/akraside.jpg
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i264/Northwindlowlander/Bike%20tech/Exhausts/akrafront.jpg
Which I actually never rode with, it was just ridiculously loud. At 4000rpm it was louder than my race system at full power. Couldn't live with it, so I sold it to Stu
Then I fitted this Remus for a little while:

But it was never as nice looking as the Micron and I never forgave it. So now I have a regular exhaust instead.
please tell me you still have that remus! i want it, no i NEED it! ;-)

Oops, that pic's the Akra rather than the Remus, need to fix that... Actually all the pics are wrong aren't they! I don't have that one, Stu has it, but it wasn't expensive (as it's basically just a titanium beer can)

Straightline racing have them in stock, but £150 (can't remember what I paid, not £150). But I can't tell you too many times, they're toooo loud. And not very nice sounding either. Though that's all personal taste of course but for me, no chance.

Beat me to it!
I s'pose the 55 does look slightly GS at a glance in that picture then there's the / which is sitting on a \ like ridge which gives the X.
I geuss it's smiilar to bieng albe to raed a setncene wehre the lteters are all mdudeld up. :-D (which did that take so long to type?!)... your brain makes you see what you want to ;)
