K3 Generator casing corrosion, is there a cure / treatment?

Hi there,

The bike has been developing small amount of corrosion probably from water / grit etc and looks to be getting worse, thought I'd washed down regularly but obviously not well enough, anyway just wandering if there is any anti-corrosion paint etc that would do the job of either stopping or cleaning it up or am I too late?

acf-50 is the preferred anti-corrosion product to use, recently been converted away from fs365 to acf-50 myself.

OKay just bought some, I do remember being talked about months ago but thought was chain lubricant, excuse my ignorance but can it be sprayed every where? asides brakes / tires etc

every where except tyres and brakes disc's (pads too obviously), it leaves a thin oily film which you do not want on tyres and brake disc's. i beleive the majority only use it once a year, it is that good.

do a search as there are plenty of threads on this product.
