Anyone recommend me a few places.

I'm looking at ebuyer and Richer Sounds, but wondered if there are any others that you could recommend.

NOT Argos as I've just taken one back...

We got ours from Curry's, price was quite competative. They didnt have the one we wanted in stock anywhere locally, so they ordered one in for us and delivered it to our house.

I was pretty impressed with the service TBH.

Tesco! Down our way they had an amazing set for about £1k. It was the latest Sony 42", slim exquisite looking, amazing picture and loads of HDMI and inputs. Dont know the model but worth checking Tesco as they seem to do the best deals but have short supplies of said deals.

p.s. I was prevent from buying one (dont really need one!) by the presence of the wife.

our 42 inch tv turned up today. DD has died and gone to heaven. Its massive. Have no idea where we are going to put it. He was slightly disappointed as he thought it was the 46" I had ordered - thankfully I didnt. Got it from Littlewoods Direct as it was buy now pay nothing til April 2010

If you have a John Lewis near you they will proice match any other store if you ring them, sometimes they throw in something extra or knock the price down a little. :)

PC world are worth a look - usually pretty much same stock / prices as currys, but not always. They had a deal on a 42" and blue ray the other month, which was not in currys next door, but then currys beat it by £50 for me, and the stock comes out of the same storage at the rear...

If you know anyone who has a MAKRO (wholesalers) card you might want to try them - the nearest one to you is Sounthampton I think.

We got our Sony Bravia 32" last year for about £80 less than anyone else round here was doing them.

Just remember though - the price you see in the store is EX-VAT - so don't forget to add it on !!
