Well I went for a tootle on my bike yesterday, was just on my way home riding down the road I had my accident on to the speedlimit (40) when a black bike came wizzing past me.

I took no notice but I caught up with the bike at a set of traffic lights. He lifted his visor, looked at his watch and said you are a bit slow ain't ya?

Lights turn to green and off he went. Got to an island where he was going round and round, I counted 3 times while I was stuck in traffic. I left him to it thinking "Kn*b". Gues what he followed me off the island, riding right up my rear end.

I decided to take a detour and turn off left so indicated so he would get from under my back wheel, but he followed.

I was mad, turned left and right down side roads and he followed. So I stopped outside some shops and took my lid off and just about to shout at him and see what his problem was, he just said "fancy a ride".

Ha ha I pulled on my bike. He then said "youre Michelle" ..... arrggghhhh who was he.

Turns out that he was in the passenger seat of my ex's car from 17 years ago I met racing my car. My ex was a bunny boiler and it was like a nightmare from hell coming to haunt me in the same way again but on 2 wheels this time.

Weird what you can pick up on your travels.

LOL thing is he knows where I live. I stopped outside some shops on my est, I didnt intend on going home and letting him know where I lived. But 17 years ago we met in the same place in the car ..... when I was a girl racer LOL

He was big, fat and bald with tattoos all over his head, dont a good look for a Occifer of the law to have on her arm.

Note - kill switch - throttle and accelarate fast ha ha ha

Hmm, this thread is becoming a little worthless without pics i say.
i think you need to get a pic of you taken from behind while you're on the bike and post it up with a poll of Bloke or Bird and let the forum decide how your a$$ looks.

Were here to help you know :)

I always go down that road slower than I would normally, and to tempt fate I went out in jeans and bike jacket which I don't normally do. I was in jeans when I came off so with my luck it would have been de ja vu.

But instead 17 years ago came to haunt me. My ex from that period was a to$$er, had to get Police to get rid of him after 7 years of DV. (for those that been thru it will know what DV is)

I will defo take Dizzys advice cause I know he will be lingering about, kill switch or a swift kick ..... that'll put him off. Why did I not think of that !!

On reading further, I think you're definitely right: ---- of the highest order.

Don't you know anyone in traffic division? Surely a polite word in their ear could create havoc for Mr Cretin in the near future - "why do I always get pulled over" etc.!!!!!

I may be a bit slow but what is so bad about this biking experience?

I think because the bloke got close up to Shell and kept following her, then turns out to be someone she would rather not have had follow her/ see it shook her up abit? i know shell (at times, like me) is a tad nervous out and about on the bike at times (after her accident) so this prob didnt help her confidence?

Yup you got it and it bought memories of my 7 years if hell back with my ex. Kinda shook me up when I didnt know who he was or what he wanted, he was glued to my rear tyre and at one point I honestly thought he was gonne take it from under me.

Suppose means nothing if you don't know me, I shall stop posting drivel Kitkat LOL :smt042

I don't know you, you don't know me, but the way I read it you were describing that someone was being agressive towards you, riding far too close and following you in a pursuing manner (and then to cap it all there turned out to be a dodgy personal history connection) - I can clearly see how it was a bad experience.

I didn't think it was drivel, although maybe that's just because I hate bullies and/or arrogant types and my biggest biking fear (both motor & pedal bike, as it happens) is being taken out from behind because someone else doesn't respect the space.

If posting helps you deal with it, then that's probably a good thing.:smt023
