Just trying to fit clip ons back on as the bike currently has renthals. It has a new top yoke to take the current bars. Looking at fitting the clip ons today and at the manual I have.

Question - I presume that there should be a hole in the underside of the top yoke to locate the clip ons? Can't see any on this yoke so do I have to try to find an original yoke?

If so do any other top yokes fit (from any other bikes) or only from a SV1000?

Just SV1000 ones I think.
However you don't need any bolt or hole. Just stick them back on, if they've got a locator tab or pin, then chop it off. If they've got a hole to bolt through, ignore it. They're fine just with friction from the clamp bolt.

Cheers, any tips for positioning them without the locator then? Or best just to try them and adjust if necessary?

I would just get the right yoke if i were you.

That's what I'd rather do but they seem very hard to come by. If I could get one I could then sell the one fitted for the renthals but it's just trying to find one.

If any one happens to have one then please let me know :)

Try and find out others that are the same. I can tell you for a fact that K1-K3 GSXR 600 does not fit although it looks identical it is 1mm smaller at the stanchion!!!!!
