tidying the garage today...

couple of bits for sale:

hel braided lines to fit k5 sv650 (and as far as I know, pretty much any of the pointies? Please correct me if I'm wrong but they all have the same brake set up?

Think they were £45 brand new so how's about £30 all in?

[shock absorber sold to arcdef]

2 x snow plows, one from sv650 k5 and one from sv1000 k5... fitted tail tidys to both bikes so I have no use for these. Again they're destined for the bin if no one wants them... pay the postage and they're yours... please note there's no bolts or fixings with this - one of them has the lugs/inserts to hold the indicators in place but the other doesnt.

Are the braided lines a complete set for front & rear (can't tell from the photo, won't load properly on my stupid work computer)? Should fit a K3 (unless anyone knows the K3 is different in any way)? Cheers.

It's the the fronts matey, thought that braided lines & hh pads would be overkill for a brake I barely use... Oh andYC said that the routing for the rear was a pain in the arsh

Righto. Will talk to THE FINANCE COMMITTEE and see what she says!

By the way, is there a brake strip/overhaul advice thread on this site?

The search function doesn't seem to work as it should on my silly work computer (along with some photos and AutoCAD and CorelDraw and Word...).
I think I need to really take all the calipers apart & make 'em tip top, I'm sure my lever travel & braking performance is slowly degrading (hence my interest in braided lines). I assume those on my K3 are original, so 6 years old with 23k miles.

Still got them although I did promise newts924 that I'd check whether he'd need any other bits to fix them to his bike
