The big rim mounted front disk never has appealed to me... ;)

h*rl*y engines have never appealed to me. How do they manage to get such low horsepower from such an excessive capacity?

Typical of the American engines, and their way of engineering. Mask terrible power and relatively poor torque outputs with a biiiig engine and an even bigger noise.
wonder if they'd stick you a tl engine in one.

Then again the actual h*rl*y engines are among the most efficient ever built. (if all you want to do is turn petrol into noise without the unwanted side effect of speed)

Damn that's alot of pages. I'll own up now I haven't read it all but here's my take..
HOVIS THE CAT IS NOT GETTING SOLD
Apart from that a bikes a bike, old or new it's insured and if it gets dropped she'll be gutted as would anyone I guess.
It might be 1200cc but it's only the same power output as the cat. I don't know if she mentioned it but they do the same bike but lower. I sat on the normal one and could reach the floor, but the lower one was also cool. I'd love one.
I don't think there's a problem with a new person getting it (don't get me wrong, not sticking up for her cos she's mah woman, if she wants the cat it give me the excuse to get of my R's and fix it which means that I can ride it too :smt055 so I personally like that idea)
But at the end of the day bikes are really only hooligan machines or old man trundlers if you want them to be. I'd be worried if she was looking at a litre sports bike ](*,) .
Look at Beanz on his MT03, that's a 600cc single, Cheryl's hairdrier has more power than that and I've seen him take the mick out of a 800cc VFR that wasn't too shabby, it's all about the rider baby. You'd have to WANT the Buell to throw you off really, it's not really a highly strung performance machine.
Oh well, cat or Buell, it's all good and to me first and foremost I want her to be comfortable on the bike and be able to move it around. The rest will follow
P.S. Hovis the Cat will not be part ex'd either, why do you say these things WHY??? :smt087:smt087

Stretchie....I love you and I love what you've written, but don't understand why you've said they have the same bike but lower??? The XB12Scg is the lowered version of the XB12S.
I love you, that is all xxx

Be careful love, you're in danger of becoming a Kawasaki owner, I thought they were they only owners that new the exact numbers like that.

"Mmmm Yes, this is the Ninja 600 b22b4eehtiis is has 0.5 more newton meters of torque at 8,786 revs than the more COMMON Ninja 600 b22b4eehtiiT and 0.06ltr less capacity under the seat rendering it completley obselete unless you have an alarm the size of a rizzla packet, but that a common mistake for people to make"
I love you too baby, please don't hurt me

Go on admit it you'd made up your mind before you started the thread hadnt you.
You've done your research, you know what your getting into. Go for it
lol. This thread is just getting people to justify her getting one.
She should get one, confidence on a bike is everything and if you think the cat is too heavy you won't be confident.

I wanted negatives, I got them early on in the thread and I've laid my mind at rest. Can be locked now as it's served its purpose.
I'm probably going to get one!

I think she's made her mind up, as long as the cat gets finished I'm happy

now with added wheels!
Hmmm, look at the rims on that :)
I think the one in robot and bike from was a mockup for the 1st film - they didnt want to have to explain why robots have genders, the one with wheels may be the finalised version for this film :).
