Erm something good....Well yesterday I got to talk to some one I hadn't talked to in ages we're gonna try to talk every day even if its only for a couple of minutes now, didn't realize how much I missed her till I got to talk to her again. Some thing good that happened to you is that some one was good enough to go fetch you some petrol instead of just looking a you as they rode past. Still sucks about your operation, Good luck.

Sorry to hear that, maybe you should have a word with Tara and Kitkat, they are coming and wont be able to ride either so you could get a lift up with them and then there's always the BBQ afterwards to look forward to :)

I ruptured my cruciate completely, and had it replaced with a hamstring graft from the other leg. Thing is, I did my bike test when it was ruptured, and didn't go to the docs for 6 months, and managed fine with a tubigrip bandage. If it's NHS you won't be operated on straight away either, so you might be able to fir in the AR? Or, just postpone it?

They said 6 months to me, but I was back to normal in 3, and back at work after 5 weeks.

Good stuff, Mr Boombastic? Ok here goes.

My forks wre screwed and needed replacing. I bought a pair from CheGuavara off the forum and they arrived the very next morning. 8).

Bugged Sid Squid nicely for the past few days and made promises of a sexual nature to him and today he and i planned to fit them, Then The Big Man put on a nice show of hailstorms and thunder and lightning to keep us amused, so we drank tea and watched the TT stuff Sid had recored. More 8)

Finally out to fit the forks and the jobs done and dusted in next to no time. Way 8)

I had a filling in one of my wisdom teeth yesterday afternoon. Dentist said I was a big lad so gave me two 'large' injections, waited a few minutes and then started drilling tooth. It felt like lightning was being channelled through my jaw and into my head, my vision went blurry from the pain and then the dentist stopped and asked "You can still feel that, can't you?"... so I said yes.

He gave me another 2 injections, waited a few mins and carried on. Couldn't feel it as much this time but it wasn't pleasant...

THEN... I paid the £50 (not bad for half an hours work) and made my way back to the car, halway there I went all wobbly. Couldn't breathe properly and legs weren't working quite right. Staggered back to the car and sat there for about half an hour feeling shaky as feck.

Anywho, anaesthetic took about 8 hours to wear off.

Oh and I skinned my knuckles whilst undoing a rusty bolt on the bottom of a sierra radiator. B@stard.

come to think of it dave, you could make yourself useful by working part time as a parts washer for me. Just drop old car components into parts washers, leave to soak for a while, then give em a scrub with a wire brush. Clean with white spirit and then dry off & paint. You fancy it? :)
