Ramsgate to East Grinstead - recommend me a good route?

Hi all,

Next Sunday (28th June) I'll be leaving a mate's house in Ramsgate and riding to my in-laws in East Grinstead. I'd like to take a nice route - can anyone recommend me some good roads / routes to take? Please keep it sensible and don't say 'via Cornwall' or something! I don't know the South East very well at all :salut:

Whatever you do, take the A264 from Tunbridge Wells to East grinstead. Ok, it can get a little busy with traffic, but its a fantastic road. Just be careful as it turns off in places where you would think it goes straight on!

Dont approach it from the Felbridge direction, thats always chocca traffic and very dull. Come in from tunny wells on the 264 or from handcross/ lower beeding A23 A24 ish.

Canterbury, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead looks good

Ramsgate, Sandwich, Wingham, Street, Lympne, Ham Street, Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead :)

Try and get down the B2026 and B2188, just a quick detour off the A264 (which is also awesome)
