Cleaning my bike on the rear paddock stand.

And then this happended....VVVVVV......

Paddock stand headed east,

Bike fell over,

Luckily my garage i so cramped with junk, it didn't have far to fall.

Result: broken mirror arm.
Small scratch to headlight fairing.

Quite pi**ed with the initial outcome, however after calming down
I think I had a lucky escape.

My questoin is can I purchase the mirror arm sepreratly without buying the fairing fixing or the mirror surround, mirror.

TIA.:)

It's probably not worth just looking for the stem/arm on its own. When I snapped a mirror off, I went on ebay - plenty there - cost about a tenner maybe. That was for the arm and the mirror - I still had the original bolts - I imagine some places must sell them with the bolts.

I have a spare left mirror, only by the looks of it you need a right
one. Pity your bike fell on the wrong side.

The only helpful information i have is that a new mirror costs £46

Actually, the reason i know this is because i did the same, but on the other side, and replaced both of them with ones with indicators built in. So i have one right mirror that i am pretty sure is in nigh-on perfect condition that i could do you for £20 inc postage if you are interested?

Thanks silent11.

Not too keen on only puting one pattern mirror on, might be noticably different after a while due to weathering.

Also i'm sure the seller has photoed a left hand mirror.

Still hoping Orpheus can sort me out.[-o<

Thanks again everyone for your input.

I think I have a spare curvy mirror mr uki could have - believe they does the same shiz. Just trying to recall exactly how the reservoir fits  maybe they are different...could do with someone to confirm.

Pointy wise, I just bought 2 pattern led indicator mirrors for the pointy £30 new so probably isn't worth buying just a stem (although a call to a dealer might not hurt if they're a fiver or something. If not ebay second hand right hand mirror or a pair of aftermarkets seem your best bets.

PS. yes I have done the same, bloody annoying! Although mine was even stupider as I actually thought to myself 'wonder if I can get it off the paddock stand with one hand' shortly before the crash...
