It's quite nice just not my colour really. Someones under the impression that by painting it a bit of a girly colour it'll stop me taking it and ragging it with absolutely no compassion ;)

I have plans for it over winter including the exhaust getting a ceramic coating and the frame and swingarm will be powder coated

I have no idea when it was washed last let alone polished, I did give the down pipes a going at with autosol when we first got it but got bored after 5 mins.
yeah I got one of the raptor forum, wasn't in th ebest of condition but it'll be powder coated like the other one when I get a chance (and some spare cash)

How much for the paint work? Ive been told £200 for all mine by the bloke next door, he does work at a garage and does a lot of his own and mates stuff so should be a good job, hope so cos at that price its great!

How is that a girly colour? Purple is one of my favourites

Ceramic coating the exhaust is ok, but if its the stock exhaust it might be worth going after market before you blow your money... well that is if the exhaust is anything like the one of the TL/SV1000's, that is looks like its been battered to hell. :(

yeah, the Raptor pipe is rather reluctant to be cleaned by anything in the normal range. In fact its a right barstwerard. Its definately more brown than an SV downpipe.
Try as I might....I admitted defeat!:-?
So maybe covering it with a coating will make it look err horrid?

Cost £203 for the paint job and a bit of plastic welding on the muddie

They're the standard cans at the mo, the Art race cans are in the garage waiting to be put back on after the MOT

It's a Cagiva symbol (well one of them anyway) as is the one on the muddie
thanx for all the nice comments peeps (including richie lol)
Its looking lovely. have waited a long time to get it painted and Al has done a fantastic job (I love you Al). Just need to get out and learn to ride the beast before putting it away in the winter for a refurbish. Will need to wash it soon as the cobwebs are taking over
Not my colour I have to admit, however, it doesnt look too bad on the Raptor.

Surley that just means you can book it in for a track day and not worry about ragging it a bit ;)

Your Raptor???
Well in that case i've just forked out for a new rear disc and pads and the mot is being done next week
So i make that about £90 of parts plus £30 for the MOT you owe me, plus the labour at £100 per hour.
I only accept cash!

Kitkat and I know that is my bike. She will also deny it but she knows. You should be paying me for the long term loan of it.

Ah but the reciept form buying it is in my name, so explain that one!
I pay for that bike in the blood, sweat and tears that i've shed over it! Especially that sodding rear brake :smt013:smt013:smt013:smt013
