To all the Dads out there, hope you have a great day.

Mine started off with smoked salmon and cream cheese on toasted bagels and a mug of fresh coffee! Yum :D Thanks kids.

Plus, thanks Mrs BP for a bottle of 12 year old Jamesons :D :D

Pete ;)

I got home made card, a bought card and 1kg of dairy milk from my 6yr old on friday as she's at her mums this weekend and today from Libby I got a little teddy bear and a card which she then tried to eat

I did have to cook my own brekkie of cumberland sausages, scrambled eggs, beans and toast (not such a bad thing as kitkat is rubbish at cooking brekkie ;))

Home made card for me too :) Museli and a coffee (to much beer yesterday) - then a big long walk...

I get a complete day off today. 2 little waiters on hand... life is good.

Can I say all the best and keep your chin up to the absent fathers like me that dont get that card or phone call or text but still have a tiny hope that this year might be the year ??? .. through circumstances beyond my control I have not seen my 2 daughters for 9 years now (21 and 17 )

rather like the lonely christmas people that need the Samaritans today can be a horrid day for some.. so to you absent dads.. you aint alone .

Apologies Pete dont mean to drag the thread down -

have a brill day one and all.. :compress::compress::compress::compress::compress: :compress::compress::compress:

Have a great day all the dads out there - I was out to work early this morning so just had to leave Dad's card & present in his favourite chair. Will hopefully go for a pint when I get home :D

Home made card (I had banned anything shop bought, I don't believe in spending the £££) with a motorbike on the front.

Only, it was a f*cking H*nda:rolleyes:

The thought was nice though!!!
