Hi orgers.. My names Aran and Im 17 and live in Solihull.
Picked up my SV650 on thursday...

4606

4607

Beautifull bike and really fun to ride.
Its my first 'big bike', owned a Derbi GPR50 when I was 16.
Il be using it daily communting to work and back in all weathers.
I will be trying to get to as many local meets as soon as I'v passed.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Cant wait to pass and get on the road :)

I have posted a wanted thread for a few parts im in search of.

Also need help with...

- Its fitted with clear brake light with integrated indicators and it flashes to fast! But when the hazards are on it flashes fine?! :s
- The Micron Delta+ can has supposed to have a removable baffle but i can only get it so far out the end and it jams!?

Il post seperate threads for these porblems just though I'd add them on the end of here!

Thanks and hello!

Welcome aboardd...

as for your test well just stay calm and relaxed, etc.

the integrated indicator thing is illegal so if i were you i'd get some normal mini cators. as for your current problem it's probably the relay if theyre LED.

as for the baffle, make sure there are no other screws and things holding it in, if not get a pair of pliers and give it a hard tug.

Ye was planning on getting mini indicators aswell on the back... but not sure where they would fit with the tail tidy?! Ah a relay Ok, I was just consfused that the hazards where the correct speed but not the indicators?

Well I undid the alan screw at the end of can, couldnt see anywhere else so unscrew and it did come half out! I didnt want to give it to much force, was bieng quite tough with it and it still wouldnt budge! Didnt want to break the thing first day I had it lol

baffle.. take the can off.. and pop a broom handle up the open end and knock it out..

then when u put it in next time as u srely will (for MOT ) smother the contact parts in vaseline (other lubricants are available) then it slips out easy with a grab from some mole grips.

Is it tricky to remove the can? Im abit heavy handed and tend to break things!! I really want 2 get 1 up on my nieghbour - hes got a focus RS and gets up at 6 every morning!

I take it that's your 'private road' you've been riding on?
