imagine you are stood there in the gents, penis in hand urinating when you face hits the wall, you turn round and somebody grabs you under the neck full of threats, you scarper back to the bar bleeding.
Having identified your assailant, the police are called and suddenly you get a broken nose for being a grass.
Move to another room, and get a chair shaped dent to your head.
Finally deciding to wait outside you are attacked for a 4th time in the corridor.
When police finally arrive the tactical include a mate. 3 police, two paramedics and A&E staff all know me.
Statement made, two in custody. my looks ruined.
Some fathers day for me.

Having a quiet drink when a big loud scotsman decides he has a month old grudge, but waits until I go to the loo to say/do anything.
attacked from behind whilst having a pee, he comes into the bar denies all and when I state it was him, he fly across the bar and breaks my nose for grassing. 4 separate assaults, witnesses to 3
His son then starts on others, whilst not punching is threatening, so he is on a public order and dad on assault.
I had not said a word to him, made eye contact or anything. He had a beef with my brother and decided if he could not get him, he would get me.

Keep in contact with the police, make sure they do something about it and get everything medically logged properly.

Well left eye is nicely black and 3/4 closed. nose still bleeding and shifted/swollen and feels like I have a cold from hell.
It was the same guy that my bro had a run in the other week. I thought there was no trouble with him and me. I had talked to him at the time and he had acknowledged me a few days after when he came in to apologise to the manager for his behaviour.
Somehow a friend who was there at the time was also verbally abused by them and managed to get a small cut when knocked off his seat as the big man rushed me the second time.
This happened in my local. It is a catholic club. Not the sort of place you would expect this sort of behaviour.
Plod have my statement, I have agreed to attend court. A&E have given me a referral to ENT so possibility of a freeby nose job. but knowing my luck it will just be a painful realignment. Oh the joy of a quiet pint of a sunday afternoon

Feuds is the last thing I want, I have family and friends that I will need to persuade not to seek revenge, I hope the system works, but unless he has previous I cannot see him getting more than a rap on the knuckles.

Well, police have contacted me. I need to go to the local station at 3.00pm as they want their crime scene people to take photos of my face. I have been to the club for a brew, the manager has told me that on the second attack which she witnessed. I was hit in the face 5 times and went down. He then turned to my mate Neil and said you can have some too and smashed him across the room knocking him cold.
As I tried to get up he returned to put 4 more on me.
When the police arrested him, he denied having done anything, but was double cuffed. He was let out this morning and returned to the club at 10.00 to collect his jacket. It turns out he is a taxi driver, he has been reported to the licensing office and he and his son are to be added to the local pubwatch scheme at their monthly meeting tomorrow.
He is rumoured to have intimidated witnesses in the past. I have no problem pursuing this through the system. However, I was informed that my brother burst into the club last night looking for him and had to be kicked out quick as the police were still there taking statements. I want no feuds. He has a big family and knows faces and my family is the same, word has already got round to some very handy people in case it kicks off again. There is no need, I have faith in the system.
The manager is happy, nothing is down to me or Neil. The cleaner not so happy as I left blood all over

The manager and her husband are personal friends, it was outside of opening hours.
Most people including plod don't even know the place exists. It is only the second time in 3 years that the police have had to be called and that was for someone who refused to leave at the end of a function.
It is a quiet place although this non work safe vid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_Y6Wl54geA) was filmed there on late night/early morning so we do know how to enjoy ourselves

this information i was not aware of.
im looking at it from a self preservation point of view. he's clearly a complete nutjob, and nutjobs have the knack of being unstable and doing stupid things....i.e looking for you and carrying on the nose amending service already supplied, maybe this time with additional goods. personally i'd just steer clear.

Well I have just had a call from the manager, the guys wife has been harassing her all day to the extent that she has now made a formal complaint. She is also alleging that I and my friend Neil attacked her husband and son.

I commend your drive to see the prosecution through- the sort of family that intimidates witnesses is normally a very nasty bunch.

Cheers Pete, One of the tactical mob that turned up (woofs in body armour and tazers), is a life long mate and also drinks in the club. When the manager was getting hassled by the guys wife yesterday she phone him and asked for advise. Hence the formal complaint now being made.
At present I only have the name of the PC who interviewed me at the hospital and took the first lot of photos at A&E. I assume somebody will be appointed to run the investigation as they need to still take an interview from the other guy who was assaulted and the witness who was helping him when he attacked me the 3rd time with the chair, she pushed me outside when he attacked the 4th time.
Lynne also has a nice bruise to her hip where he smacked her into the bar as he ran at me for the second attack where he broke my nose and knocked out Neil. But as you can imagine a bit of bruising does wonders for the looks of a Salford lasses nether regions. At first we could not see anything as it was lost in all the tats and piercings;)
All this because he was jealous of me being so much prettier than him.
Yeah Richie knows I am beautiful, pity he only sees the me through his beer goggles though, the 1:30 in the morning and starting to get desperate beautiful.

Yeah she spent her last year in Salford just off Broughton Lane. i had my car broken into there, wonderful place. I even proposed to her in the Albert Park.
We would normally use the Priory, but occasionally went the other way up to poets corner (all gone now). Still favorite pub must have been her dads local (He lived in the Sally Army Oldfield Road, hopeless alcy) the Jollies, filthiest pub it has been my mispleasure to enter, next to the Hare and Hounds in Eccles where you got stuck to the carpet

Well, the club manager has just been up to see me. The guy who did the assault has been added to the local pubwatch banned list and his son has been banned for my local and under probation order for all the other pubs. He knew yesterday that this was going to happen and is crying foul innocent until proven guilty etc, the same with his taxi license that has also been suspended.
He has asked that he can make representation at the next meeting and will be allowed to, but it is the opinion of the club manager that he will be wasting his time. There is also a little concern that the guy who was also assaulted will not appear in court as he is easily intimidated.
She left me to go down to the local nick to formally sign the harassment papers against the thugs wife.

Somebody up there hates me. I had an appointment with the ENT people at 11:20 today. check in on time and find out there is an hour wait. damm.
A friend was working on the clinic at at 12:40 I am the only one there, he says, looks like you must be for the main man, I am on a different clinic this afternoon and will have to go
So at 1:30pm I am sat there still, the receptionist has just said I will find out how long they will be for you Mr Wilkinson and a nurse appears. The clinic has finished an hour ago, the consultant had been dictating his notes and has now left for the day.
So the nursing staff are most apologetic, they have put me at the head of a different consultants list for tomorrow. They think that because I was added to the end of a list the records staff have come along, picked up all the records at the end of the clinic including mine without checking with the consultant he had actually finished his list. So no more records waiting, he sodded off for his golf
Somebody up there hates me.

Well I have to go into the Royal Preston on Friday morning nill by mouth from midnight to have the beak realigned. I just know it is going to hurt.
Plod came round last night to advise progress, and for me to sign for release of medical records.
The guy responsible is on bail to reappear at the end of July, his conditions simply state that he must keep away from me and the bar where it happened. 3 witnesses have made statements. The other guy assaulted is reluctant as he fears that the thug will be rearrested for that assault and come looking for him. He cannot get it into his head that his best protection is to say what happened. Hopefully plod will convince him

i always feel for people in this position. Obviously the right thing to do is go to the cops and say your piece but the way our justice system is at times i can also understand why this guy thinks he's better off just staying out of it aand keeping his head down. Sad situation and one which only exists cos too many potentialy violent and frightening people are let out on bail to threaten witnesses and so on.
Tim sounds like a terrible experience. For your sake I hope they throw the book at the *******s, its just a worry that having first hand experience of the CJS, that the **** will end up coming away with a slap on the wrist. Good luck with the op.
